CST
LEARNING AND GROWTH PERSPECTIVE

CST sees each employee as a fundamental part in realizing its vision and corporate mission. Through this philosophy, one of CST’s underlying values is appreciation of its human resources and its seeks to create a safe and pleasing work environment, making significant investments in workplace training and the continuing education of its employees.

As such, the Company maintains a work environment that places a priority on quality of life and skills, promoting self-development, meeting the ambitions of employees in the areas of personal satisfaction, professional growth safety and health.
To this end, the human resources policy is founded on four principles: a) career-oriented development; b) quality of life and workplace safety; c) competitive compensation based on performance management that evaluates knowledge, skills and attitude, including profit sharing when team and company objectives are met; and d) decentralized management.
EMPLOYEE TRAINING

CST invests heavily in training and developing employees. Professional and personal development has improved each year, which has resulted in improving career growth opportunities and quality of life while contributing to better productivity.
Through company-sponsored “Our School,” CST’s Education Support Program, created in 1993 in partnership with SESI/ES, was able to meet its internal education targets whereby all employees complete schooling at least through high-school. The program was also extended to employees’ spouses and employees of outside contractors.
