Transport of the Recarburizing Dust
Every metallurgical coke produced in the Coke Oven is utilized according to ArcelorMittal Tubarão internal requirements. Part of this coke is processed, being crushed and screened, then resulting in a coke of smaller granulometry that is consumed by the Steelmaking Plant. However, this process of crushing and screening produces a finer material with a granular range of 0 to 4mm, that is made available for commercialization for applications such as Recarburizing Dust for the steel mills that use the EAF furnace.
Chemical Composition
Just as the CDQ dust, this material is rich in carbon.
