ArcelorMittal Tubarão contributes since 1997 with educational initiatives which value the environmental awareness of the community.
The Program represents a new step aiming make the interchange between the Company and the educational field stronger.
The Environmental Communication Program main objective is to contribute with educational initiatives which promote the environmental education through integrations actions with the Institutions of Higher Education involved, known as privileged spaces to the environmental conscience development. The Program aims at contributing to multiply ArcelorMittal Tubarão values about Sustainability, through incentivating Environmental Education and Scientific Production.
Developed since 1997, in partnership with Schools, Institutions of Higher Education, public and private, from Great Vitória, the Environmental Communication Program makes the interaction between the company and society stronger and it allows a better quality of people's life. Carried out thru agreements which last two years, the Program consists of activities and pedagogic projects developed in the schools and the dependences of in the Environmental Education Center (CEAM) facilities.
